The army watch will be a part of a modern equipment of the ground forces, Airborne forces and Coast Guard, the corporation press service told. The device is designed to operate at temperatures from -40 ºC (-40 ºF) to +50 ºC (122 ºF) and is protected from the electronic warfare effects and other powerful sources of electromagnetic waves.

If the serviceman is exposed to the electromagnetic impact of an atomic bomb, the watch will continue to work without interruption», said Oleg Faustov, the Chief Designer of the Life Support System for Combat Equipment. The device weighs about 100 grams and work for 10 years without need for repair. The enterprise that will produce watches is not specified.
